15th Century craftsmanship reimagined in a “tiny” island resort.
Tiny Village Cartagena is …
….. a boutique resort just off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia — one of the most enchanting cities in the world! At Tiny Village Cartagena we aim to build an island getaway that incorporates everything that makes Cartagena special from it’s architectural design, to its culture to its cuisine.
Our “Tiny Villas” are stand alone structures which incorporate “Tiny house” design principles to afford maximum space and comfort per square foot, while still ensuring that the energy consumption of each Villa is environmentally responsible.
Bringing Cartagena to the islands — and with style
Our Villas are modeled to be Tiny House replicas of Cartagena the Old Spanish Colonial houses in Cartagena’s city center. You won’t find any Tiny house resort quite like this in the world
A Tiny Villa that minimizes your impact while maximizing your space
Each Villa is 255 square feet of intelligently designed spaces. With a living room, patio, separate shower and toilet as well as a bedroom loft, you can comfortably sleep 4 people without feeling crowded.
Oozing with culture — and we mean it!
We’ve gone through great lengths to make sure we represent Cartagena culture through materials, design and major art pieces artwork. Most notably, most of our doors and windows have been reclaimed and restored from the historic Teatro Colon, an over 100 year old theater.
Gorgeous 360 views of the city, island and stars.
From sunrise to sunset, there is always a specular view from our viewing deck. Oh, and at nighttime you can’t get better than this!
It’s all in the little things
We’ve built out a space that has all the amenities you can think of! Whether you want to chill out in our incredible jacuzzi pool, have drink at our full bar or grab a bite at our restaurant, you won’t need to (or want to ) leave!
Sustainable and environmentally responsible from the get-go!
From the outset of the project we wanted to use sustainable practices that minimize our footprint. We currently run 80% off solar power, and use rainwater recycling and other water conversation systems.
Island access just a stones throw from the city.
With Cartagena a less than 15 minute boat ride away, you can enjoy the relaxed island atmosphere without being totally removed from the action.
